Benihime
Benihime is the name of Kisuke Urahara’s Zanpakuto. It’s Shikai command is Awaken. It has a wider blade which ends in a flat end and has various decorations on its hilt. Benihime in its Shikai form has two known special abilities, both are activated by the command: “call out”
Blood Mist Shield – seen in episode 20 when Urahara was forced to block Ichigo’s energy blast. It takes the form of a red spirit shield which stands as tall as Urahara.
Crimson Energy Blasts – cero-like attacks which Urahara used against the Espada Yammy, they easily overpowered his own cero blast.
