Chojiro Sasakibe is the Lieutenant of the First Division and is a loyal follower of his Captain. It is said that Yamamoto once saved his life. He has white hair and wears a jinbaori vest over his Shinigami uniform. Interestingly, in the manga, Chojiro was drawn without pupils, but has them in the anime version. Chojiro’s Zanpakuto is Gonryomaru, its shikai command is “pierce” where upon the sword transforms into a rapier with a full hilt guard.
