Jirobo Ikkanazak is the younger brother of Jidanbo Ikkanzaka, the gatekeeper whom Ichigo Kurosaki defeated when he first arrived in Soul Society. During the Soul Society arc, Jirobo ambushed Uryu Ishida and Orihime Inoue while they were hiding on the top of a building. Ishida was able to detect his attacks and save Orihime. Jirobo boasted about how Orihime and Uryu stood no chance against him, but had his zanpakuto defeated by Uryu’s arrows as soon as he released it. The name of his zanpakuto is Tsunzakigarasu. Its shikai command, “time to spread your wings” creates several spinning blades which hover through the air.
