Acidwire removes Orihime’s soul from her body and attacks Tatsuki, knocking her unconscious. Ichigo arrives with Rukia and battles Acidwire. The Hollow reveals his identify as Orihime’s dead brother, Sora. In his twisted mind, he blames Orihime for turning him into a Hollow and threatens to kill her. Orihime is badly injured when she blocks an attack meant for Ichigo. Sora regains his senses and shatters his Hollow mask. He and Orihime bid goodbye to each other before he uses Ichigo’s zanpakutou to purify himself. The next day, thanks to Rukia’s Kikanshinki, Orihime and Tatsuki both had their memories of the previous night replaced. Ichigo promises to Rukia to help her with her Shinigami duties from now on.
