Kon is tired of being treated so poorly by Ichigo and Rukia, and decides to run away from home. He first spots Orihime playing “base soccer” (Orhime’s made up game). He runs towards her, but is hit by the soccer ball and knocked out of the park by Orihime’s swing. Kon then tries to attract the attention of some of Ichigo’s schoolmates, Kunieda Ryo, Ogawa Michiru and Honsho Chizuru. Except he lets out a yelp when Ryo step on him and has to run for it. Tired and dirtied, Kon finally return’s to Ichigo’s room only yo be discovered by Ichigo’s sister Yuzu. Kon is happy to be cleaned by Yuzu, but is horrified when she dresses him up like a baby and superglues a plastic flower to his ear. Kon realizes how good he had it with Ichigo and Rukia and runs back in tears. Ironically, neither of them realized he had run away.
