A Plus Soul resides at the abandoned hospital and its howls are heard by Karin, Chad, Orihime and Natsuki. Rukia explains that it’s an earth-bound spirit who sees the hospital as his territory. She tells Ichigo to relax because even though iIt may eventually become a Hollow, it will take half a year because its soul chain is still attached and its Hollow hole is only half open. Don Kanonji makes a grand entrance by parachuting from a helicopter. He starts off the show and approaches the spirit haunting the hospital. To Ichigo and Rukia’s surprise, Don Kanoji plunges his “Kanoji Buster” stick directly into the Hollow hole in the spirit’s chest.
