Bleach Manga Chapter 20: 6/17 op.4 “face again”

Ichigo’s father is blowing his whistle like crazy trying to reach the girls. When Ichigo arrives, he tells him to go search for them. Ichigo starts to protest when he suddenly feels an evil presence. He meets up with Rukia who confirms that a late order from Soul Society just came in reporting that a Hollow would appear nearby. As they race towards it, Rukia tells Ichigo that she won’t ask anymore about what happened in his past unless he is ready to tell her about it.

Yuzu rushes to help Karin as the Hollow beats her to the ground. Yuzu cannot see spiritual forms like her sister can, but can feel an invisible object on top of Karin. The Hollow lashes its tongue at her and picks her up by the throat, choking her. It calls her an eyesore for having no spiritual energy and says it will eat her first.

Suddenly, Ichigo arrives transformed into his Shinigami form and cuts off the Hollow’s tongue to rescue Yuzu. Next, he cleaves off the Hollow’s leg to release Karin. Once he has brought his sisters to a safe distance, he turns to the girl next to the Hollow and demands to know why she is helping a Hollow because he saw her at the riverbank six years ago when his mother was killed. The girl replies to Ichigo that he is wrong about her being the Hollow’s crony and reveals her true form.
