Bleach Manga Chapter 24: 6/17 op.8 “All One Way Sympathies”"

Orihime is staying over a Tatsuki’s house when it begins to rain outside. She jokes about sleeping outside in a sleeping bag while she is looking for a new place. She was kicked out of her old apartment after the recent incident, but is staying in a hotel in the mean time. As Orihime walks home, she reflects on what Tatsuki had told her about Ichigo’s past and feels that she can understand him better now.

The Grand Fisher is seriously wounded by Ichigo is in no better shape himself. Rukia rushes over in time to warn Ichigo as the Hollow launches one final surprise attack. Grand Fisher then transfers his large body into that of the lure part of his body, and takes on Ichigo’s mother’s face. He reveals that both parts of his bodies are the real body and he can freely transfer from one to the other if one side is injured.

The Grand Fisher escapes and taunts Ichigo because he can’t follow him in his injured state. Rukia has to hold Ichigo back as he tries to pursue. Fortunately, Ichigo faints due to his injuries. Rukia reveals that only someone with as much spiritual energy as Ichigo can survive being hurt so badly.
