Bleach Manga Chapter 340 – The Antagonizer
The author takes us to Hueco Mundo once again, where Ichigo and friends are fighting against an army of hollows. Renji and Chad have no problem defeating the monster-like enemies, while Rukia beats up the arrancar executioner’s squad. The only one that remains is the leader – Ludbone, who activates his reincarnaccion – Arbola, a plant-like ability.
The scene changes to Ichigo and Ulquiorra, who are fighting all-out, damaging as much property as possible. The fourth Espada finally acknowledges Ichigo, by fighting with his sword, instead of just his hands. the two opponents seem evenly matched and as soon as Ichigo sees an opening, he fires a Getsuga Tenshou at Ulquiorra. The Getsuga is black, even though Ichigo isn’t wearing his hollow mask. Even though the attack is powerful, the Espada cuts it in half and immediately attack the shinigami from behind. Ichigo manages to block all of the incoming attacks, until Ulquiorra fires a devastating cero at him. Ulquiorra is almost impressed to see Ichigo survive the attack and congradulates him on getting stronger. He also ponders upon the reason for Ichigo’s sudden spur in strenght and ability and states that rescuing Orihime is meaningless, because Aizen has already decided her fate.

Ah, it took some time, but Bleach is finally here, too. There are rumors that there won’t be any Bleach for 3 weeks, though.
Anywhoo… That Ichigo bastard has somehow gotten stronger.. I wonder what he’s gonna pull outa his ass ta beat Ulqi-chan.

It was so short chapter. Nothing happened but at least we saw Orihime and that is always a good thing.
…like Bayakushi said Ichigo mysteriously became stronger. When that happened? 
He fights on a equal terms with Ulquiorra without his mask. This fight will be interesting and I want to see Ulqi*** to do his metamorphoses,I mean his second level.I bet it’s some ugly thing.

I bet his transformed state might give us some insight on how the Vasto Lorde might look.
Which brings up a question I’ve had. Which of Aizen’s Espada do you think were Gillians, Adjuchas, and which were Vasto Lordes?
I think I remember them saying that Aaroniero Arruruerie is the only gillian of the Espada. I know Grimmjow was an Adjuchas. So my guess is that 10, and 8-5 were Aduchas also. Then 1-4 were Vasto Lordes…

SSJ-as I recall(I don’t know in which manga chapter) they show us shadow of Vasto Lorde and in that form hollows look almost like humans.
I think that your way of thinking is logical-naturally the strongest Espada’s must be VL.

Yeah i saw that shadowy figure, but it doesn’t reveal much.
And yes, i hope thats how it is too, but it may not be 100% correct. Afterall, the 10th espada was an adjuchas, and the 9th was a gillian.
I wonder if annacar train really hard, can they become stronger, like shinigami… As i remember, the only way for a hollow to get stronger is to eat other hollows, but an annacar may be different. And if they do, does their number change when they surpass another?

Yo ssj, when luppi surpassed Grimjaw she took his number and the same thing happened with Nnoitra surpassed Nel. I think three things influence the arrancar’s strength 1. pre-transformation rank 2. Time created(later=stronger) 3. Skill in fighting (Aaroniero Arruruerie was only strong because of his special ability)

The whole luppi thing was always a little blurry for me. Like why out of nowhere did he become 6 when Grimmjow lost his hand. Like did he just jump right passed 10-7? And obviously he couldn’t have been that strong if Grimmjow took him out in one jab through the chest. I think Aizen let him have the number 6 spot for that brief period of time to fuck with Grimmjow, and inspire a little anger.

did anyone else notice that, like Zanpaktou, the more skilled hollow are smaller but fiercer at the same time, like pre-arrancar grimjaw compared to grand fisher.
