The Paradox of Bleach

First I want to say, compared to the Espada, normal hollows are extremely weak, so I don’t really consider them an enemy of Ichigo any more so they aren’t really important to talk about. This blog is about the paradoxal relationship between shinigami, Vizard, and Arrancar. Why can’t these three groups live in peace?

Shinigami: In this series Shinigami are seen as the protagonists, they are believed to be inherently good because they kill the evil things that haunt humans, but are they really? As Aizen, Gin, and Tosen proved they can really be just as evil as anyone else. There are also several others that are maybe not evil, but are definitely crazy, such as Kenpachi Zaraki or Mayuri Kurotsuchi.

Vizard: These former shinigami are now exiled, but why? They were the unfortunate victimes of fate. What have they really done? In the beginning of the series, Ichigo is plagued by the thought of what happens to the souls of the victims of hollows, these people are no different than those unfortunate victims. Ichigo himself is proof that the shinigami and the vizard have a lot in common and can live and work in peace.

Arrancar: These beings are a bit more sinister than the other two; these beings were once the baddest of the hollows, the greatest and most vicious Menos Grandes. However with the influence of the Hougyoku they lost their masks and became much more human-like. Because the Arrancar act as antagonists in this series, they are seen as evil. However, some of the Arrancar are good such as Nel, Gantenbainne Mosqueda, Pseche Guatiche, and Dondocahkka Blistin. Others such as Stark are simply doing what is necessary and dislike fighting. Others, still, are simply crazy – such as Wonderweiss Margera.

The Shinigami, especially Shinigekuni Yamamoto Genryusai need to learn to be more philosophically flexible and excepting of others. They need to learn that actions dictate morality and not stereotypical features.

For those of you who say “Wouldn’t that kill the manga?”: Not necessarily, there are still plenty of evil people, like Aizen and Ulquiorra to kill.

Hope you liked thisfirst part series!

Bleach Episode 201 – “Nnoitra Released! Multiplying Arms”

The battle between Kenpachi and Nnoitra rages on.  Kenpachi pierces the 5th Espada’s eyepatch and thinks he’s won, but Nnoitra reveals that the patch actually hides his hollow hole. And so the figh continues, with Kenpachi slowly gaining the advantage. He finally manages to cut Nnoitra’s arm, thus angering the Espada. Nnoitra attacks, but only mangaes to rip off Kenpachi’s eyeptach. At this point, the shinigami’s reiatsu goes trough the roof and with one strike, the captain cuts Nnoitra in half.
However the 5th Espada is still alive and uses his resurreccion – Santa Teresa (Praying mantis). His reiatsu increases, he grows four arms, each holding a scythe and his injures heal in an instant. kenpachi is surprised and Nnoitra uses that chance to cut him. Kenpachi falls to the ground, seemingly dead, but when the Espada tries to attack Yachiru, the 11th squad captain cuts off one of  Nnoitra’s arms.  The arm instantly regenerates and the two oppononents continue their fight. Even though Kenpachi manages to pressure his opponent into a corner and disable the movement of  his weapons, Nnoitra grows two more arms and rips a hole in Kenpachi’s chest.

Mysterious life of Kisuke Urahara : Who is he really??

hitsugaya_toushiro_by_slayertoadPost author: Captain Hitsugaya

First off, I want to say that I start to read Bleach manga just recently and I fall in love very fast (yes, you’re right of course it’s because of the girls). :D Tite Kubo really knows how to make guys happy. 8-)
Since I first saw Kisuke I immediately found him a very interesting man whose life is surround with mystery. It was clear from sky that he isn’t some ordinary shop salesmen who just sell weird products from Soul Society. He is everything except that. His laid-back attitude couldn’t fool anybody. Just by his appearance average manga reader would momentarily recognize that he is very strong. That was proven in resent bonus manga chapters ” Turn Back The Pendulum 1 to 12”,where we found out that he was actually captain of the 12th squad and first chairmen and founder of Soul Society ”Research and Development Institute”.

kisuke
Kisuke Urahara or “Mr.sandal-hat” ,because he always wears traditional Japanese wooden sandals (geta) and a bucket hat. Although he is side protagonist he is still one of the most interesting character from Bleach manga. He runs “Urahara Shop” with the help of Ururu Tsumugiya, Jinta Hanakari, and Tessai Tsukabishi. Aparentlly Tessai is his old friend who comes with him from Soul Society because they were forced into exile in human world but we don’t know what are those two kids to him. It seems that they are just labor workers but I think there is more to it. Maybe they are his children with Yoruichi Shihoin or they are just results of one of his weird experiments (that would be really sick).
He was once a shinigami but after that incident 100 years ago he was, along with Tessai ,sentence to banish on Earth for conducting taboo experiments and deceiving colleagues, while Tessai was convicted to imprisoned in underground prison 3 “Shugo”. That incident will be the trigger for the later events.

With the Yoruichi help and with his invention (gigai) he somehow manage to escape on Earth.
He also manage to save his 8 friends which Aizen tried to turn into hollow and they will later become Vizards (they are hollowficated shinigami). What I would like to know is if they were considered like hollows why government didn’t give order to kill them.
And how Kisuke was able to sell products to shinigami if he was into hiding from the Soul Society government? In current chapter we heard from Zaraki that he helped in preparation with fight on Yamamoto’s request, so maybe old man never stopped to believe in him, maybe he just didn’t want to believe that Aizen is traitor?

He’s really a strange man. Like all great man he is mystical, mysterious person and white such rich imagination it seems that he is more like a Visionary? or Prophet?

lrg-573-bleach-kisuke_urahara_animeIn the history of mankind there are only couple of chosen people for whose works there aren’t real explanation, practically it’s impossible that they did what they did. Kisuke is one of that man. He started a completely new and till then never seen organization in Soul Society ”Research and Development Institute”. He invent many interesting products like gigai, soul candy etc. ,but his the biggest and the most scariest invent is creation of the Hōgyoku (breakdown sphere), a device that mixes Soul Reapers with hollows. He was fearing of the potential power it could give someone, so he tried to destroy it but he just couldn’t do it. Eventually it will become clear that this was very bad decision, because it fall into Aizen’s possession and who know what he will next do with that. We saw just a small fragment of it’s true potential in form of mighty Espada’s and it was enough to make all captains to fear of it.
What I also found interesting is his relationship with another mysterious person-Mayuri “the mad scientist”. I would like to find out what roll Mayuri have because Kisuke especially wanted him to be his assistant in his science projects. Did he couldn’t trust anyone with his experiment so he choose person who haven’t anyone else or is Mayuri one of his first experiment. What we saw from Mayuri in battles he doesn’t look like human, more like a cyborg. We don’t know much about that guys, so far what we know is that he is scientist who was imprisoned and when Kisuke showed him to Hiyori it seems that they are more then a acquaintance . Yes ,I know that Kisuke was also in charge of the Third Unit, of the Special Forces(the Detention Unit) so that the reason why they know each other but it seem that there is more behind it or maybe I’m just wrong.
Kisuke often knows more than he reveals and for now he’s just holding by the side. It seems that he just observe occurrences and only when he think that is event of an important value he step in on the scene to interfere, most of the time when it’s a bit too late. I think that we will see his full power when the fight between Aizen, Ichimaru and Tosen on one side and captains on the other side begins. We know that he is strong and we already had opportunity to saw his Zanpakutō “Benihime”.

kisuke_urahara_benihime_shikomizue_caneWhen he trained Ichigo in one of his favorite invention (big basement-cave). “Shikai” is command of Benihime for “Wake Up” but it’s appearance don’t change dramatically like exe. Renji. We also saw it’s special ability – some kind of red shield (Blood Mist Shield), it’s save his life from Ichigo’s “Getsuga Tensho” while they were training. And although we didn’t saw it’s bankai form we can assume that it’s very powerfull because when for the reason why will Renji train Sado and not himself, he sad that his bankai is not fit for training others or lending power to them. So it must have some dangerous destructive power. His sword have one more ability-it have skull, like Rukia’s glove, and with that Kisuke can force out one’s spirit from a human body or a gigai.
He is really a man of mystery. Everything around him and about him is secret. I’m just hoping that Kubo will answer soon on these my questions. :) I hope that you have enjoyed and that this wasn’t so long post.
I tried to make blog which would be similar to blogs from our dear authors on Shannaro I hope I didn’t screw that much.
I just wanted things to kick start and to make J and some another author to write some stuff too because I think that this site have maybe more potential then Shannaro.
