Bleach Manga Chapter 345 – The Sloth
Rukia and Ludebone face off in a life-determining battle. The arrancar reveals that each fruit on his tree-like resurreccion is a skull, which can transform into a skeleton. The multiple skeletons that attack Rukia are weak and easy to kill, but their vast numbers soon have the shinigami exhausted. The captain of the Execution squad displays an impressive amount of power, saying his is nothing compared to the power of the Espada. Because Aizen has created an army stronger than any other and only a fool would be unreasonable anough to raise against them.
At that moment the dome above Las Noches explodes, to which Ludebone, surprised, remarks that this was Ulquiorra’s doing. Ishida and Orihime both come out of the tower, looking worried.
The scene changes back to Ulquiorra and Ichigo. The Espada says that all Espada, ranking higher than 5th are forbidden to use Grand Cero or release their swords within the dome, since it could turn Las Noches to dust. Then, pointing his sword at his shinigami opponent, he uses his resurreccion – “Murcielago” (Spanish for bat). Rain as black as ink starts falling from the sky, but Ichigo doesn’t react. The rain stops and Ulquiorra’s evolved form appears on top of the tower. Ichigo is almost scared by Ulquiorra’s massive reiatsu. The two enemies stare at each other, the tension building up between them. Ulquiorra finally breaking the silence by telling Ichigo not to lose his concentration. He then appears right in front of the shinigami, wielding a silver spike as his weapon. He goes for Ichigo’s neck, but the latter blocks instinctively with a Getsuga Tenshou. Ichigo is pushed away and half of his mask is cut off.
The Espada expresses his concern with what would have happened, had Ichigo not used Getsuga – his head would have been chopped right off.

So Ulqui-chan was actually a vampire bat. That’s interesting. I bet he sucks (blood) pretty good.
It seems the Espada above #5 have incredible power – to be able to destroy the entire Las Noches just by using resurreccion, that’s quite something. It seems even without using much strength, he would’ve cut through Zangetsu, if Ichigo hadn’t used Getsuga.
I’ve also never seen a vampire bat use a silver spike as a weapon. What’s up with that? Isn’t that supposed to be the vampire’s ultimate fear?! I hope Ichigo brought garlic and Holy water with him…

I just wish the chapters were longer…they make it seem impossible for Ichigo to obtain victory…I suppose he’s going to have another upgrade with his mask or something, but I suppose we will find out sooner or later…

Well, I still liked my unicorn theory, but I guess batman is also pretty cool. What’s Ichigo gonna do now? If he has anymore tricks left, he better use ‘em now.

Haha this chapter was awesome… until I realized I was already on page 19. Bastard.
Well I’m not disappointed in Ulquiorra’s released form, it’s pretty badass.
But answer me this. Does it not seem like he is the strongest Espada, or at least stronger than Hallibel? His strength has been focused on much more. I know thats because Stark and them havn’t been trying, but when Hallibel used her release form it was like, ok, that was kind of cool I guess. but with ulquiorra it was like, damn, its batman, hell yeah.
whatever, i don’t know how ichigo could possibly win this one without going full hollow.

For the record, I know that he isn’t the strongest Espada, I was just saying Kubo has just made a much bigger deal about his power so far.

I agree with SSJ…Ulqiorra is a way to strong for just being a 4th Espada.
Is it just me or Bleach is becoming more and more faster by each chapter…3 lines and the rest is just special effects sounds like “splashhhhh”, “fhjuu”,”booom”.WTF?!!!
Bob said he read it in 1min 40sec but I think that if he hadn’t have to wait for page to load in…he would read it in 30 sec max.
P.S.SSJ thanks for recommending a VK..it’s nice so far and what’s more importantly it have 34! pages per chapter.

SSJ, Thats an erection not a reserection…
As for Uliqiora’s strength, I see him kind of like a Shikamaru type character in that he could put up a good fight against the other espada, but why try? This chapter was named SLOTH after all. I guess that this means that Tite Kubo will continue through the seven deadly sins leading up to Uliquiora’s death.
