Bleach Manga Chapter 346 – The Wrath
Above the roof of Hueco Mundo, Ulquiorra has released his true Arrancar form, which has enormous bat-like wings and a crown-like mask. Ulquiorra slices off the right eye part of Ichigo’s mask, noting that Ichigo’s Hollow form is stronger than before and he can maintain it for much longer. However, he insinuates that Ichigo is still no match for him. Meanwhile, Ishida is wondering about the apparently fake sky of Hueco Mundo as he gazes up at the hole Ulqiorra made. He refrains from telling Inoue that he is glad she is safe because he knows they are not safe yet. Instead, Ishida reassures her that Ichigo will win against Ulquiorra.
Back to the fight, Ichigo evades Ulquiorra direct attack, leaping back far enough to have time to fix his Hollow mask. Ulquiorra pretty much flies across and engages in a body-to-body stance. He tells Ichigo to use his Getsuga, Kurosaki’s strongest attack, only to show Ichigo how much stronger he is. Ichigo merely scoffs and boasts that he was planning to use Getsuga all along. He attacks Ulquiorra with a immense Getsuga Tensho.
Unfortunately, the Getsuga merely dissipates around Ulquiorra who laments that Ichigo is only human after all. While Ichigo stares in shock because he is unharmed, Ulquiorra notes that Getsuga is similar to his own cero. Kurosaki is disgusted at the comparison but Ulquiorra prepares his Cero Oscuras (Black Cero), covering everything in a black light.

LaydeeKay writing the post? hhmmm, more evidence of the “J and silent bob theory” Though I like J’s writting…
I thought it was good, only one more deadly sin left, and with Orihime so close to the battle feild, Uliquiorra could give new meaning to the term, especially since his weapon is a large pole(If your to dumb or lazy to figure it out, the final sin is… LUST)
Guess that means after next episode Ichigo will win or it will switch to the other battles.
Good job on the post, just wish the chapter didn’t read like a flip book, hole miniute to read it slowly…

Anyways, I just remembered that Nel and perhaps Grimmjaw are still alive. They might be able to help Ichigo.. maybe.

That mask sure seems different from Ichigo’s current mask. At first I thought it was nel’s mask, ’cause the chapter it was published in was about Nel. But it’s not. Seems really cool though..

That looks like the guy Rukia is facing, though Ichigo and hollow ichigo make up the right side, the left bottom reminds me more of Kira.

I’m thinking that Ishida noticing the fake sky will lead to them finding a way out of Hueco Mundo after Ichigo’s fight.
I wonder whats so much better about this black cero than a normal one. And where does it rank in comparison to a grande cero?
So the last sin is lust… I’m thinking there might be a monologue by Ulquiorra, revealing his true lust for power, or something like that.

And I agree with SSj.We will be witness of Ulqi-chan monologue for sure. So that mean we will finally have chapter longer than 10sec of reading.

sad to say, but i think Uliquiorra is pretty flippin amazing. i love his whole “calm yet deadly” demeanor. and he’s so damn powerful. i just hope that the Vizards come and fight. but then again, they hate both sides. i dont know who they’d fight for. i wonder what the Shinigamis would do if they showed up. happy, sad, shocked? who knows.

Yeah the Vizards are pretty cool, but to small of a force to try and stand alone…I hope they specifically work with Ichigo since they helped him in the first place…then I hope that Ichigo bring their mask transformation to a whole different level.

I think the vizard have pretty much decided to side with Ichigo, they did train him after all…
As for the Shinigami’s recation to the vizard’s help, I think that the Vizards would be unwelcome unless they were pretty much decimated. They kicked them out (an sentanced them to exicution) but now that the central 48 are dead, they may be able to find redemption if they save the shinigami in their hour of need.

That fact always pissed me off about the soul society. WTF did Shinji and them do wrong? So you’d just kill them, former Captains, and still completely conscious beings just because they were experimented on? Just how “good” is the Soul Society? I think they need a governmental reconstruction.

They did have a governemental reconstruction when the 48 were murdered. I suppose we will see in the up coming releases how different they are now.

I don’t believe we have gotten any insight on a serious reconstruction, or much any of how their system has been working without the central 46 yet. I wonder if they will replace them, or if the US will come in and impose democracy?

I don’t think that Soul Society is very oil rich. (They don’t drive or use electricity) Though magical-sword-weilding warriors that save us from other worldly powers would make great insurgents… I don’t think the U.S. would invade even if Osama announced that was his new base of opperations…
