Bleach Manga Chapter 349 – The Lust 3
Well, well, it seems my theory of the seven sins going back in reverse was incorrect, as usual. The chapter’s title is ‘Lust’ once more. I guess Ulquiorra’s pretty horny. Not that the title really matters anymore, since Ichigo’s about to go nuts… If Kubo Tite actually made any sense when coming up with titles, this one would definitely be ‘Orihime’s Despair’.
Indeed, at the end of the last chapter things didin’t look good at all for the story’s protagonists. And things begin to worsen quite rapidly during this chapter. The Black Cero pierces through Ichigo – Inoue is speechless. Wide-eyed, she stares at Ichigo, who just dangles lifelessly from Ulquiorra’s tail. The Espada drops the shinigami from the tower’s top down to his doom (but he’s already dead, so it doesn’t either way).
Inoue lets out a scream of horror and fear for her friend and barely manages to catch Ichigo with her shield. She tries to rush to Ichigo’s side, but her path is blocked by Ulquiorra. As usual, he’s a big meanie and disperses her hopes of reviving Ichigo. However, before he can continue, Ishida appears behind him and fires one of his unique light arrows. The Espada has no choice, but to block the arrow with his wing, thus giving the girl enough room to maneuver around him and get to Ichigo. She immediately starts repairing him with her time-reversal abilities, but to no avail. Kurosaki’s eyes are wide with shock, just starring through her lifelessly. Orihime’s hopes are shattered and she starts to cry. Since Ichigo had always been stronger than his opponents, she had never doubted his ability to win even the toughest fights.
Meanwhile Ishida uses another new move – Licht Regen (Light Rain) – a vicious attack that sends millions of light arrows falling down from the sky, hitting Ulquiorra like rain drops during a storm. The Espada is unharmed, yet curious about the Quincy’s sudden burts of anger – being the calmest in Ichigo’s group such attitude is very unlike him.
Inoue begins to panic, not knowing what to do; another tragedy occurs right beside her – Uryuu is wounded badly by Ulquiorra – his arm chopped off, he is no longer able to use his bow and arrows. The Quincy tells Orihime not to worry, since he’s already used anaesthesia and stopped the bleeding. He charges at the enemy with his sword – Seele Shnider, but is again defeated by just one blow from Ulquiorra’s tail. As Ishida falls to the ground, the girl experiences a nervous breakdown – she has no idea what to do in the face of death. She repeatedly calls for Ichigo in her mind, until finally with a scream of fright and despair she begs for his help.
In the very last caption of the chapter Ichigo shows sings of life – his arm grips the floor, trying to help his body raise up from the ground. His hair starts growing rapidly – a sign seen once before – when he turned into Hollow monster, powerful enough to bring a Captain-ranked shinigami to his knees.
What will the outcome of the clash between two monsters be?

this chapter was pretty cool. i’m very curious to see how strong ichigo is now. with his mask on he wasn’t a match for ulquiorra’s resurrection, maybe now that he’s turned into a hollow he’ll be able to defeat ulquiorra. come to think of it, ichigo could take the vaizard a step further, turning completely into a hollow, not just the mask. that would be something else.

Ok i’m not gonna say i predicted most of this but… i predicted most of this last chapter. lol jp, but seriously, he blows the hole, goes after orihime, ishida holds him off, gets hurt, she tries to heal ichi, ulqui goes after her, ichi goes into a full hollow blind rage because of her… yeah i said that. lol.
anyways, why 3 lusts? and why dont we really see any signs of lust in the chapters? i wonder what the next one will be called? if ulqui was labeled the antagonizer, maybe ichigo’s hollow will be called the responder.. lol jk.
im sure ishida’s arm is something orihime can heal though, since she could do it for grimmjow.
hope the next chapter doesn’t do something gay like switch over to the other battle, but that would be very kubo-esque.

Here we see Ichigo’s transformation from vizard to full hollow… Since SSJ makes some acurate predictions about this, I’m going to try my hand at it… Next time… “Ownage” Spoiler: Ichigo wipes the floor with Uliquiora
As for why three lusts… well as the banned says… “It’s all about the girls” and with girls you need “The Lust” or at least a Viagra…

Man, doesn’t this totally parallel what’s happening in Naruto in that the main character undergoes the ultimate transformation which also happens to be the thing he tries to resist the most. Don’t tell me Ichigo’s dad is gonna shown up and stop him now…
Still, I would love to see Ichigo full hollow version clean house with batboy here, reminds me of that battle Ichigo had with Byakuya in Soul Society.
