Bleach Manga Chapter 350 – The Lust 4
Before I start doing whatever it is I do, I just gotta say – THIS IS THE BEST BLEACH CHAPTER EVER!!!! And somehow I have the feeling you’ll all agree with me.
Ichigo’s really gonna put the hurtin’ on Ulquiorra now. His new form is vastly superior to the old Ichigo – stronger and faster than ever before, he has no problem overwhelming the Espada. The only problem is the lack of control. As the author states in the beginning of the chapter, Ichigo’s consciousness is barely there, being suppressed by his inner hollow. I’m guessing Kubo Tite gave us a hint last year, when he suddenly decided to include this in the middle of a completely unrelated chapter:
As you can see, there is almost no difference between the masks. And judging by the text in the first picture, the current Ichi-monster is Death. Wooo~~ Scary!
For someone who’s supposedly possessed by Death, Ichigo displays a great amount of will-power by channelling his lasts thoughts of keeping Inoue safe into the Hollow. Everyone is surprised to see that Ichigo’s still alive. The Espada even deems it impossible and refuses to believe the creature is actually Kurosaki. When Ulquiorra asks the hollow for its name, he only gets an impressive display of the force:
If I remember correctly no one in the series so far has been able to summon their weapon from a distance, unless it was attached to a chain or they used kidou spells. This leads me to believe that only a shinigami with a very deep spiritual connection with his/her sword could do that. And since Ichigo’s inner hollow is part of Zangetsu, it’s natural that he’d have full control him. Also some of you may remember that the inner hollow told Ichigo they would meet again, so that Ichigo could finally obtain Zangetsu’s true power. Guess we can expect another fight in the sideways world?
Anyways, the hollow decides to show off its immense power by cutting through the Las Noches dome with just one flick of its wrist (blowing away Inoue and Ishida in the process). It then starts screaming at Ulquiorra’s annoying and idiotic questions. The Espada gets pissed off at the creature’s rudeness and fires a Cero Oscuro (Dark Zero) at it. However, the target creates a cero of its own, using the horns on its mask. Unlike the last hollow version of Ichigo, which used its finger as a medium to gather energy:
Before: After:
The two ceros collide and the result is similar to a miniature nuke. Ulquiorra is stunned that his own cero was blasted away and still has a heard time accepting that a human could actually produce a real cero. Deep in thought, the Espada is caught off guard by the hollow, which appears behind him. Before Ulquiorra can even turn around his left arm is caught and ripped off and for the first time something similar to fear is visible in his eyes.
As the Espada screams his lungs out from the pain, Inoue and Ishida can only stare in disbelief at the monster that their friend has turned into.
Oh, and one last thing – am I the only one who thinks there’s something wrong with Orihime’s dress?!? (On the samll pic on the left) Perhaps Kubo forgot that little kids actually read this. Because that is definitely NOT just some wrinkle in the dress’ fabric.
