Bleach Manga Chapter 360 – “Shock of The Queen”

Download Bleach Chapter 360

ALRIGHT! Kubo’s finally done it! he’s managed to embed visual brain-teasers inside his manga. Now you can read, while thinking! How awesome is that. The first puzzle is: “Find the difference!”. Locate all the differences between the first and second page of the manga and win a prize (the text bubbles don’t count as a difference)!

But seriously, I know what is to be lazy, but this is just wrong. Work harder, boss!

On to matters at hand. This was an awfully short chapter and I won’t be going into much detail, so don’t expect much.
Ukitake “battles” the adorable little arrancar Lilynette. Needless to say, she’s absolutely no match for him, which just Juushiro the opportunity to play around with her. The 13th Division Captain has been known for his soft spot when it comes to kids and Lilynette is no exception. It looks like they’re playing a game of tag and the girl just isn’t good enough to slap him. What worries me is that Ukitake always acts as a fatherly figure to such children – like Htsugaya and Ichigo now and Byakuya and Gin in the past. He just might adopt Lilynette at the rate things are going.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the other side of Karakura Town Omaeda’s running abilities are put to the test. The Lieutenant doesn’t really have any other choice – Barragan is just too strong for him to handle. The fat guy tries using physical attacks by smashing a building or two with Gege Tsuburi and shooting the rubble at the enemy. The 2nd Espada’s skills however, allow him to turn the stones to dust and remain completely unharmed.
Omaeda is then hit by an epiphany – he has to use Kidou – the one thing that could possibly have any effect against Barragan’s non-physical defense. He uses one of the very few spells he knows –  ”Sekienton” (Crimson Smoke Curtain) to cover his escape path, but it’s not very effective. Barragan finally decides to get serious and pulls out “Gran Caída”  (Great Fall – Axe of Destruction) from under his robes.
101Just as Omaeda is about to get chopped in half, Soi Fon releases her bankai – “Jakuho Raikoben” (Wasp Official Thunder Rod). She slowly appears behind Barragan, whose facial expression remains as bony as ever.
14Soi Fon’s bankai is not amongst the most impressive ones in appearance. Its shape is that of a pilar with a welding mask attached to it, it looks awfully heavy and, as Omaeda notices, it seems very uncomfortable to fight with. We also learn why Soi Fon had to tie herself to a building at the end of the last chapter -the belt she uses to tie herself is made of extremely heavy steel, which means she’s using the building as an anchor. Apparently she needs to be strongly anchored, so that she doesn’t get blasted far away when she attacks. The 2nd Division Captain comments that she doesn’t particularly like her bankai, since it goes against her pride as an assassin. Unlike most tools used for assassination purposes, this one is too big, hinders her movements and has an attack that draws too much attention.
18-19The firing mechanism is like that of a rocket – it releases high-pressure vapors from the eight holes in its body to gain a speed greater than the speed of sounds (you can actually see the small sonic boom), making it practically unavoidable. The mask attaches to its base is used as an aiming device, while the part attached to Soi Fon’s arm is used as a launch base. In its structure it’s similar to a gun, the only question that remains is – what does the over-sized bullet do? I thought it’d be really cool if it were a nuclear bomb. Let’s just see how Barragan’s gonna get away from that! But from what I see in the picture above, it reminds me a lot of Ulquiora’s Cero Oscuras or his Lanza del Relámpago. We’ll just have to wait and see. Also, let’s hope it takes more than that to beat Barragan, because otherwise it’d mean Soi Fon is secretly super strong.

i really want to see Lilynette’s resurrection, but we’ll just have to wait until she gets her sword back. i’m really hoping she’s super strong in her resurrection state.

and i think soi fon’s bankai is pretty good. i mean it kinda completes her. in her shikai state, she’s a powerful close range fighter, and now her bankai makes her a long range fighter. and i agree with j, hope barragan, the self-proclaimed “king of hollows” is stronger than this.

    I count five differences J, 1. lilenette’s eye’s 2. angle 3.(L’s) shoulder spike 4. Ukitake chin shadow 5.(L’s) hair

    Do I win a prize???

Barragan’s going to make a come back, no question…

I didnt expect Ukitake to act in this manner. More or less just goofing off. Maybe he’s doing so she wont get ‘seriously’ hurt or butt in the fight between shunsui and Stark.

As for Soi Fon’s Bankai. If she truely tied herself to the building it must be one hell of a blast she just shot off. ‘For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction’ or something like that right?

Kido would be about the only thing that should work against Barragan. Then a blast like this, could(perhaps should) finish him off. How would Stark react to the apperent demise of numbers two and three. WIll he actually release, or wait what Aizen, Gin and Tousen will do, and ‘play’ out this fight in full with shunsui.

And indeed Byakushi… Not an impressive chapter.

Umm, actually mart, Lilynette’s hair and shoulder spike and Ukitake’s chin shadow are different because of the scanlators, not because of the original drawing. And the angle’s the exact same. only her eye’s different, ’cause she’s about to cry. So that’s just one difference. You don’t win a prize.

stupid scanlators robbing me of my prize (they are theiveing bastards but you gotta love what they produce…)(I should still get a prize…)

I hate it when manga artists divide chapters between multiple battles! I just want one!!!

Ok, a little cross posting of my own with the Naruto forums.

Her bankai is impressive, but i doubt that one hit from soi fon’s bankai is going to do-in the segunta espada. even the 7th espada barely survived a direct attack from byakuya’s bankai (a captain i believe to be stronger). so this is cool and all, but i doubt barragan is going to be seriously hurt from this one attack, and if he is, then i’d call soi fon one of the strongest captains in the entire gotei. plus there just hasn’t been nearly as much coverage on barragan as there has on the other espada before their deaths. halibel didn’t have that much coverage either, which is why i still doubt her death. you’d think these 2 of the top 3 espada would have longer, more in depth fights that might reveal a little more about them. it has been somewhat of a pattern with the espada fights/deaths thus far.

lilinette obviously wants to release. I think Ukitake knows that if he gives the sword back he may not be able to playfully avoid hurting her. he is trying to keep her from releasing.

and i can’t believe i didn’t notice the identical illustrations before you pointed it out. haha

I find interesting Ukitake attitude. It confirms that he is one of the strongest taichous. The same goes for Shunsui. They will use their full power against a real treat like Aizen or Ichimaru. “A smart warrior, a good general or a good person would do as they, not using unnecessary force”.
I expect SoiFon to cause some minor injuries but not defeat Barragan. It will be a shame to Kubo if all the weakest won. Oh unless some upper Hollows are about to show up.

wow, just saw the spoilers. maybe ukitake should have finished lilinette when he had the chance.

Oh, I wouldn’t say so. Things are a lot more interesting now.
