Bleach Chapter 367: Your Enemy is My Enemy

I want to start off by saying two things… 1. I was wrong about Aizen fighting Yammato (for now at least…) and 2. WTF Vizards??? for some reason I was expecting them to pull an Ichigo and go the whole fight with their badass masks on but it seems like they are already dispearing, starting with Love, whose mask lasted a whole three minutes… I feel like they should have used them for something more than a couple (thousand) Menos…
I suspect their masks’ life span will depend on three things, 1. how much they use it, that’s why Love’s is already gone 2. How strong they are, I suspect Kensei and Shinji will last the longest 3. How far the masks have deteriorated so far… Already we see that their masks have gone from full coverage to partial. Some would see this and think, the Vizards are going to get owned, BUT I think it’s worth remembering that, even without their masks, these Vizard are Captain and Vice-Captain level fighting already tired Arrancar in a two to one fight and if the Shingami aid them it will become three or four to one.
I’m very interested in seeing what their Shinigami powers are, it would be lame if all they are, are squad twelve type Shinigami on steroids, but Rose’s singing and Hachigen’s barriers do give me a lot of hope.
First things first though, Last chapter Shinji, maskless, tried to strike Aizen, let’s face it, we all knew he was going to get owned… Tousen stopped him and cut him in the procces, apparently going for a “Kill bill” style decapitation but Shinji dodged semi-succesfully. Then, to counter Tousen, Captain Sajin Komamura steped in along with Vice-captain Shuhei Hisagi.
Hallibel rejoins her fight with Hitsugaya only to be interupted by Lisa and Hiyori who come to aid him. By this time only half of their masks are left on their face… Hiyori doesn’t want to help the Shingami but the other Vizards like Barney and start to talk about how they don’t need a special reason to be friends, this seems to really annoy Soifon inparticular, her friends must all be imaginary…
Regardless, Hachigen pairs up with Soifon to take on Barragan, I have a feeling his barriers will be just as effective against Barragan as Byakuya’s barriers were against Zommari and then Soifon will finish him with either her Shikai or her Bankai while Hachigen holds Barragan in place.
Kensei takes out the last of the Menos so he gives Mashiro Superchunky to take on.
Mashiro apparently doesn’t like tounge and goes for “El Susantivo” as we have been calling him (the mouth in spanish) He pulls out a second hand and seems to have a white orb for a head with a moustache underneath, weird… Mashiro kicks him several times and we see that her sword isn’t just floating next to her, but is tied to one leg. Kensei joins her but has yet to inflict any damage…
Love and Rose pair up to take on Stark and Lilinette. In his usual laid back additude, Stark asks if Love’s mask is already gone, Love confirms this stating “ We’re Superheroes so they only last 3 minutes”
So it seems like the final match-ups are:
1. Tousen vs. Komamoura and Hisagi
2. Hallibel vs. Hitsugaya, Hiyori (Half masked), and Lisa (Half masked)
3. Barragan vs. Soifon, Hachigen (Maskless) and Omeada
4. Stark vs. Love (maskless) and Rose (maskless)
5. The Tounge vs. Mashiro (Mask AND Might Gai get-up)
6. The free agents are: Aizen amd Gin vs. Yammamoto, Shinji, and Kensei
My guess is that Kensei will have to help out Mashiro, Shinji will try to take on Aizen but end up fighting Gin, and Yammamoto will take on Aizen but lose.

good job with the post mart, but i think you’re forgetting Wonderweiss, i hope kensei is gonna fight him.
and that isn’t her sword tied to her leg, i think it’s wonderweiss’s sword.
can’t wait to see the fights.

I did forget about wonderwise, He’ll probably fight with Superchunky and like you said end up fighting Kensei.
I don’t think that this dagger: http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/367/15/ is Wonderwise’s boradsword, but i could be wrong because they don’t show the whole thing. However there are two things to notice: 1. Wonderwise’s Zanpaktou doesn’t have that U-shaped thing on the hilt and 2. “Mashiro’s Zanpaktou” is on her right leg their but not here: http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/367/14/

If you guys think the sword is tied to her legs, That would mean she also tied Wonderweiss’s head to her leg.
So… No… I think you guys are seeing it wrong. Apart from the introduction I havent seen her sword at all during the fighting. You are looking at the hilt and the top of his head, if you look a bit closer you see his mask.
Its nice to see these 2 vs 1. Apart from the ones that are confirmed as seen in this chapter. I do believe that Kensei and Mashimaro will take on Wonderweiss.
And the magic 4 guys… I think Yamato and Aizen will continue they’re staring contest while Shinji goes into battle with Gin. And going by the two vs 1 battles that are forming, maybe Kyouraku(he far from dead) or perhaps Kira(reason: emotional tie) will help Shinji. I doubt Kira will have the time to fight with Gin seeing he keeps on getting more people that need healing, most recent would be Captain Ukitake.
Also. after looking through the chapter for a few times. I dont think the masks are at their limits. GOing by what happened with Ichigo the mask simply chattered when the limit was reached. Also in Ichigo’s fight with the Privaron Espada. He also let his mask dissapear before it reached the limit. And it showed the same dissolving effect like I see now. SO i think they are dissolving it on purpose.

Now that is a mask that has actually reached its limit. Just chatters apart.
So, they might be bluffing about their actual limits. I doubt the arracar and Aizen know everything about the masks properties. Hell even ichigo keeps on developing to new heights with no one around to tell Aizen.
THe first fight(probably) against Tousen is gonna be an intreseting one. I wonder what Shuhei can still do in his already weakend state. His Shikai is ‘recoverd’ seeing the chain is in one piece again. I think Komamura’s Bankai is big enough the rip through the balloon like Bankai of Tousen.
Another big question remains is whether the Three Former captains got a treatment with the Hougyouku themself. I wonder if Aizen has. Seeing the time the Vaizard needed to perfect its control, i kinda doubt it, but who knows.

I kind of forgot a few points.:P
The Pair-up of Barragan and Hachigen. I sort of figured Kidou is the only thing that would work on Barragan. I seems Hachigen figured the same thing. I’m kinda looking forward to that one too. It’s bound to be a different kind of battle that anything we’ve seen thus far.

I keep forgetting things, koryaku will probably join the Aizen fight or the Stark fight because they are both personal…
I think they aren’t bluffing about the masks though maybe they were in that love didn’t seem like he spent three minutes ripping apart hollows…
I’m personally hoping hisagi has a bankai up his sleave, I mean if that Ichiraku idiot from squad twelve can pull it off…

I agree with you on that 3 minute limit thing mart, that’s all they get after all this wait? I liked to see them kick ass in uber mode for at least another chapter. Heck for some of the vizards, we didn’t even get a good look at their mask before it was gone

I also kinda like these 2 on 1 fights. I know it isn’t honorable to double team the bad guy, but hey these are vizards – their like ghetto shinigami so they play by their own rules. And since they’re going 2v1 from the get go, I think it shows the vizards themselves are not underestimating their espada foes. All the captains tried going 1v1 but look what happened to them.

Wow, im kinda late to comment lol. I dont know about you guys and I knew it was bound to happen, but Im not particularly crazy about everyone fighting 2 v 1 and even 3 v 1 in some cases; wish there were more arrancar *sigh*. Though if the fights were 1 v 1, we would have way too many fights, but is there really such a thing as too many fights
. But then again, if all were 1 v 1, one of the good guys wuld hav to lose, then we wuld have further complications, yada yada yada…watever.
Gin was definitely right, Tousen is a boyscout lol. Predictably he comes to Aizen’s aid in a hot second, a fact im sure Aizen wuld bet all his cash on. The funny thing is, im sure every shinigami and arrancar knows that but the vizards are kinda out of the loop of people’s personalities. BTW, after those kicks, superchunky doesnt look so hot lol.
How many freaking times are we gonna hear the infamous line “I missed” then the character proceeds to reveal his intended malicious outcome. First in the mummy (one of my fav movies
), then ikakku vs edarad, shunsui vs stark, soifon vs yoruichi, ishida vs mayuri, now tousen vs shinji…im sure there are other instances im forgetting.
I wish kenpachi was at the fight venue in fake k town. though not the most intelligent, he always has somethin funny and insightful to say about people, would definitely lighten the mood. Plus is it just me or is anyone else worried about Ukitake, i mean he just got ‘Wesker-ed’ for pete sake lol. Anyway, I think the radicals that Aizen cant fully put into consideration, and what will lose him this war are: Ichigo’s growth rate, ishin Kurosaki and the ever unpredictable Kisuke Urahara.

Haha, yeah. It’s the same reason characters call out their moves before attacking or let their opponent know they’ll be using their super move next, but just stay there and stare in awe because they need time to power up.
