Bleach Chapter 369 – Spit On Your Own God
Ah, so it turns out Barragan was just a filthy cheater. Whoever said he was stronger than Ulqui-chan can keep dreamin’. It is true that Barragan’s ability is unrivaled, and practically inescapable, when it comes to attack power, but apparently even ”time” needs time to work. And speed seems to be his weak point.
At the end of the last chapter it was revealed that Barragan’s “Death Breath” can affect even kido spells. He explains that all living things die, and all things created by humans and shinigami are no exception. 
The Sedunda Espada easily breaks through Hacchi’s first barrier and prepares for an attack. The Vizard is faster, however and creates a reinforced barrier called “Ryubi no Jomon” (The Gate of Dragon Tail), this time adding a chant to make the barrier even stronger. That gate would certainly be harder to get through, if Barragan couldn’t just walk around it…
While Barragan waits patiently for something to happen, Hacchi asks Soi Fon for her assistance. The Captain is reluctant to give aid to her ally, because she knows of the Vizards’ connection to Urahara (she probably has a grudge against him, because he took Yoruichi from her). After some persuading she agrees to use her bankai. Poor Urahara is gonna be stuck in a cage for a month. (If he and Hacchi survive ’till tomorrow…) 
Barragan finally becomes impatient and decides to destroy the barrier in front of him. At that same time Hacchi activates another three barriers – “The Gate of Tiger Fangs”, ”The Gate of Turtle Shell”, “The Gate of Phoenix Wings”, in order to form “The Final Gate of Four Beasts”. I suspect this is Hacchi’s most powerful barrier, so it should give even Barragan a hard time.
The Espada just laughs at his opponent’s attempts, saying that it’s useless to try and seal him. But I guess I underestimated Hacchi – he’s actually a very smart fighter, figuring out Barragan’s one weakness so quickly. Soi Fon’s bankai is quite fast, so it takes longer for Barragan’s aging to slow it down. If the blast is closer then even if his aging works, the explosion will still get him at full power.
Soi Fon fires a point blank shot with her bankai, causing a gigantic explosion inside Hacchi’s barrier. The barrier itself cracks under the huge force of the blast. Unless Barragan can also teleport, I don’t see how he’s gonna escape this time. The only question here is – can he survive a devastating attack like that?! If the answer is ”yes”, then the good guys are in a lot of trouble.

No way that old geezer can survive this. If he ,by some miracle survive,than I expect that Gin,Tousen or even Aizen will kill him in a blink of eye ‘cuz he didn’t fulfil his duty. And ‘cuz he’s worthless shit. Something like that.
It’s time for 3rd Espada to go down. I’m sorry Hallibel but that’s life

glad to see ya back j. good review. i suspect this is the end of barragan, i mean how long can you drag someone’s survival out? there has to be a reason barragan isn’t primera, there has to be some small drawback to his power, and i believe hachigen just found it.
i suspect the next battle will be harribel’s. it’ll probably take another 2 or 3 chapters. after we get that one over with, i am excited for all the remainders. stark’s other gun’s power, all the unrevealed bankais, there is so much left to be revealed, but i doubt we’ll see them all. oh.. and wonderweiss’s release!

Nice little review again J. Here I was last week all exited how Hachigen and Soi Fon seemed to know eachother quite well. in the end, she just hates Urahara. Well, at least thats one question answered.
This does indeed seem to be the end for Barragan. Hachigen didnt need to use the Time suspension technique. I suppose Tessai never taught his lieutenant that technique. Oh well, Barragan is smart enough and his Kidou is still the best way to fight Barragan. Tho he needs a bit of help of Soi Fon’s bankai.. hence the nice deal..
BTW!?: Isnt anyone surprised that Hachigen took him on(and perhaps out) without his mask?
@ssj: I’ll reckon the fight against harribel will last a bit long seeing how its more or less a 3 vs 1. Thou i think it will just be Lisa and hiyori on display.

Sadly, I think Mr. Luisenbarn is done for. It’s been fun Barragan, you even have the third coolest ressureccion (Szayel 1st and Grimmjow 2nd). But the one thing I was wondering this chapter is “Why didn’t Hachigen put on his mask?”. Surely it would have made his Kido stronger…

i think he’s still alive and he’s gonna say something like “i am the king of hollows, nu petty shinigami can kill me” and then he dies. and why did soifon suspected urahara told hacchi about her bankai? didn’t she used it like 10 minutes ago? maybe hacchi saw it with his own eyes.

Oh the jokes about “looking deep into her eyes” and making “Eye Contact” but that aside, I think she’s got a bit of time, I’m hoping Barragan goes out with a blast and at least takes someone with him (omeada? we can only hope) Also Kisu. you forgot the BEST resurecion, ICHIGO’s… I’m wondering if the other Vizards can imitate him…

Well I was hoping that he’d take out Soi Fon, but Omaeda is a pretty good replacement
