As you said ssj. Aizen is too strong. There is Royal Guard that has been mentioned, Ishinn and Ryuuken. Urahara probably has been working on some 'last resort' device. Even thou we see him alot, he is and always has been kind of a shady figure. I mean, he has been manipulating the whole first arch by shoving Rukia in the gigai to seal away the Hougyouku. And after he still has been out-performing Capt. Mayuri. Since Ichigo still has little control over his next-gen full-body hollow. Right now Aizen seems content with bringing down the current gotei 13. I wonder thou if they are enough for him to create the key..., not that I believe Tite will kill off the entire Gotei 13.
