Bleach Chapter 395 – The Burnout Inferno 3

Download Bleach Chapter 395

Ah, how unfortunate. Another geezer kicks the bucket. Too bad his death wasn’t as glorious as Whitebeard’s. But Bleach is, after all, not a romance manga, so a suicidal final attack is quite welcome. Bye, old man Yama, we liked your braided beard.

At the very least, Yamamoto didn’t disappoint in terms of power. He killed Wonderweiss quite easily – his “Double Bone” technique literally blew the Arrancar into pieces. In the end the retard was really not very powerful at all, it was only Aizen’s strategy that killed Yamamoto.

1
After the Commander took out the trash, he was ready to take out the big boss – Aizen. After another small chat regarding the purpose of life Aizen reveals his true trump card. I’m pretty sure Aizen knew Wonderweiss had no chance of winning against Yamamoto, so he did the next best thing – he not only sealed the old man’s sword, but turned its power against him. Wonderweiss’ purpose was fulfilled. We also come to understand the true reason behind Wonderweiss’ idiotism – his brain was removed so that it could make room for Ryuujin Jakka!! A brilliant tactical decision by Aizen. ;)

2

Realizing that an explosion of this magnitude could break the planet in half, Yamamoto selflessly gives his life to prevent the explosion. Of course Aizen doesn’t pass up the opportunity to fuck with his opponent – he implies that with the Commander’s death the Gotei 13 is eliminated and the world is now his for the taking. As the antagonist approaches his victim to deal the finishing blow, Yamamoto grabs him by the leg and with the last of his strength releases one more destructive attack.

The Kidou spell “One Sword Cremation” is just in Yama’s style – a giant, fiery attack that gives the enemy no chance to escape. It reminds one of the “Hell flames” Yamamoto tried using a few chapters ago. I suppose that since he’s now dead we won’t be seeing his bankai. Or rather I think we’ve already seen his bankai, without knowing, or he simply doesn’t have one. His sword is just so ridiculously powerful, it can’t be sealed into bankai or shikai. Well, whatever the case, he’s dead, but at least his final attack dealt enough damage to Aizen to make him vulnerable for a while.
3
The asshole almost passed out from being hit by that fire. He also seems to have lost an arm and a leg. The big question is – will he be able to regain his composure before the Deathberry chops his head off!?! Ichigo has once again appeared in Aizen’s blind spot, but this time he takes no chances and goes all out – he’s already put his mask on and is about to strike.
I don’t think Aizen will let Ichigo inflict any serious damage, but I do think Aizen might be forced to use bankai or any other secrets he’s hiding.

    i hope yama’s not dead…ichigo somehow reminds me of grimjoww here

  • By DarthUchiha18, March 13, 2010 @ 8:32 am

    I always thought Yamaoto would probably die at some point before all of this is over, but I I didn’t imagined it be around this time. I really hope that isnt the case. Anyway its about damn time aizen recived genuine damage this time, he was starting to become god like defeating all these captains and even some espadas without much of a scratch. I didn’t catch the missing of an arm and leg, but either way it looks serious. Then ichigo with his renewed strength going all out in his blind spot. I think Aizen might reaveled his bankai( an possibly vizard powers) or maybe gin, that blind dude(if he’s still alive) or any espadas still alive might recived the finishing blow in aizen’s place. Either way, without any of those factors, I don’t think aizen will get out of this easy like he did the first time ichigo snuck up on him.

    Ya I didn’t think Yamma was dead, just injured, but either way, orihime and the fat guy can bring people back to life, and the fat guy can probably teach Unohana.

    I think Aizen will be more like UL than a powerhouse, or he will turn out to have all the Arrancar powers when he goes resurecion.

    I’m waiting for Gin to step in and do a Madara…

  • By ssj, March 13, 2010 @ 8:54 am

    I don’t think Aizen lost an arm and a leg. I know what panel you are talking about, and I’m pretty sure he didn’t lose them. But if he did, he can just regenerate them once in hollow form.

    To all those who said yama was a selfish old bastard, I think this chapter clears up that notion. If he had his sword, hell even without his sword, if he could just fight aizen he would have mopped the floor with him. I’m not sure if he is dead yet though.

    And if he’s not, Orihime can use her time reversal on his sword to get his flames back.

    But now, how will Ichigo take on Aizen, and Gin. btw, this has to be a new record for how long it takes an underling to step into the fight. Only adds to the theory that he is the big boss.

    I don’t know about the whole gin being the big boss theory.I have to admit that gin is kinda the odd factor in this series. He kinda takes a back seat to everything. So far every one in this show either shows respect and loyalty to aizen or shows much hatred and disgust. Gin doesn’t seen to fall in either of these category. Even when he was boasting about aizens strength when all the captains were fighting him it felt like empty words to me and seems like he doesn’t really care. So in that way it does kinda makes that he would be the true mastermind. However, at times he would seem like more of a double crosser than a mastermind and try to take matters into his own hand.

  • By cesc, March 13, 2010 @ 11:29 am

    yea i hope com yama isn’t dead, i never imagined he was this powerful.

    Gin is just plain awesome. i’ll be thrilled if he actually is the mastermind. I have nevr seen aizen giv him any others, nor does aizen evr complain when goes out nd does shit on his own.
    when tlked about aizen, to me it just seemed like words of praise for his subordinate.

  • By madara uchiha, March 13, 2010 @ 12:25 pm

    “I’m waiting for Gin to step in and do a Madara…” lmaooooo! given that gin always keeps his eyes shut it wudnt suprise me if he has never seen kyoga suigetsu but i dont kno about the real mastermind part

  • By Pretend3r, March 13, 2010 @ 1:20 pm

    It seems i’m not the only getting more and more suspicious of Gin. The bastard hasnt moved an inch while Aizen was playing around. Where he -so quickly- cut Hiyori in half earlier. I think we can pretty much make it a fact that it is indeed Aizen that got pinned by yammamoto, seeing Ichigo moving in.

    Maybe Gin isnt the true mastermind, but wouldnt mind taking over job if Aizen died. I mean, checking back he joined the Gotei 13 at a young age, finished in one year, and immediatly got a ’seat’ in the Fifth squad, and took out that Third seat’s squad with ease.

    Also like cesc said, Gin seems to be on casual terms with Aizen. Because I can’t say that Tousen ever had a simple chitchat with Aizen throughout the manga.

  • By Byakushi, March 13, 2010 @ 1:38 pm

    Wow, that’s a lotta comments in such a short time.
    Personally, I think Gin is actually Aizen’s only friend. They’re both equally disgusting beings, so it only makes sense that they’re attracted to each other. I think Aizen sees Gin as the only one who’s almost equal to himself. I think the best way to put is – Gin is the only subordinate Aizen considers as not expendable and not completely useless. And, hey, every evil genius needs a funny accomplice to keep them company.

  • By Karijow, March 13, 2010 @ 2:50 pm

    Nice J, but I dont think Yama’s dead either, just injured. Why would he do a suicidal technique if he wasnt sure it would kill Aizen? Assuming the Hado killed him is a bit premature in my book. Btw, I dont think Aizen came out with more damage than a few scratches. Poor Yama and Whitebeard, old guys get no respect

  • By mart1, March 13, 2010 @ 5:22 pm

    Gin reminds me or Starscreen or Kabuto. I think he might make a temp. ultimate villan while either Aizen makes a recovery or Tite (Tite Kubo does bleach right or is he one peice?) comes up with a new villan.

  • By Coach K, March 13, 2010 @ 10:35 pm

    I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we find out Gin isn’t even there right now. It would make a lot of sense for Aizen to start fighting to give Gin time to go to the real Karakura town and start making the key.

  • By tm, March 14, 2010 @ 12:45 am

    YAMA KICKED A BUCKET WOHOOOOOOOO!!! YES!! YES!!! FINALLY!!! MUAAHAHAHAHAHHA

    ahem

    so, situation looks pretty bad for gotei-vizard-ryoka team. Aizen’s team, mainly aizen himself, is OMFGPWNing everybody in sight, so I really want Gin to intervene and fight ichigo. ichigo vs gin would be pure awesomness.
    so this is my prediction :D

    P.S.
    c’mon yama!!! couple of bruises was all you could do to aizen with hado 96??? you’vr gotta be kidding me! where did all the arrogance about being strongest shinigami in 1000 years evaporate to? pathetic

  • By John, March 14, 2010 @ 1:53 am

    I don’t think that Yamamoto is dead, if he could take his own attack, which is a beast of an attack and not die, I don’t think a Hado 96 can kill him, you get where I’m coming from? It reminds me of a Chuck Norris joke which states that the only thing that can hurt Chuck Norris is Chuck Norris. That’s why he does live up to his reputation as the strongest Shinigami in a 1000 years, and all those Yama haters you obviously don’t pay attention to detail. Aizen had to fight him in such a roundabout way, that’s how powerful Yama is, so that isn’t pathetic and he is the only one that outsmarted Aizen and genuinely injured him, so yeah he is a God and a beast, and most likely is not dead, no flashbacks. HA!

  • By blooper, March 14, 2010 @ 7:25 am

    Yama dead? lol yeah right. You don’t really believe that, eh?

  • By tm, March 14, 2010 @ 11:09 am

    @John

    outsmarted Aizen? LOLZ when?

  • By tm, March 14, 2010 @ 11:10 am

    @John

    btw, you call a couple bruises an injury???? LOL

    I guess we’ve got another yamatard

  • By Mart1, March 14, 2010 @ 12:19 pm

    Jiriaya, Nagato, Aizen, and Yama are all broken characters… I think Yama is a beast, but as the main villan, Aizen is beastlier. Aizen DID say Yama was more powerfull, but Aizen seems a lot smarter AND he is strong. So I say brains AND brawn beat just brawn.

  • By John, March 14, 2010 @ 12:27 pm

    @tm
    When did he outsmart him? Well when he feigned being injured more than what he actually was, caught him by the ankle, made him tremble in fear, lectured him and then Hado 96ed his ass.
    Well I don’t know, did you see Aizen with his smug face… oh wait, he wasn’t so smug after that attack was he, I think that any attack that wipes that stupid smirk off his face is one of the greatest accomplishment ever seen in Bleach, and frankly I rather be a Yamatard, even though he’s not my favorite, maybe top 5, than an Aizen fan,he has too many, he’s cool and all, but I’m not really a fan of him, it’s that simple.

  • By tm, March 14, 2010 @ 1:54 pm

    @john

    1. tremble in fear – where did you see that?
    2. wipe the stupid smirk: that was all 2000 year old captain commander could do to him LOL. but worry not my friend, that smirk will be back next chap.
    3.again, you said “hado 96ed his ass”. innapropriate phrase for just couple of bruises isn’t it?

    I’ll say one thing, this chapter made me 100% aizentard!! I’m a believer!!! Aizen-sama will OMFGPWN ALLLL!!!! XDXD

    @MART1
    Aizen is strong but right now he defeated Yama with his brain only. (that’s just my opinion)
    I agree on broken chars though XD

  • By Byakushi, March 14, 2010 @ 1:59 pm

    Well, how should I say this..
    Yama is dead, because he just took an attack that could rip the world in half. He was already dead even before he cast the Kidou spell and he knew it. He was just able to conserve some of his energy for one last attack. It’s not the Kidou that really killed him, it was the initial blast. I’m sorry if I didn’t make that clear enough in the post above.. Yama’s not pathetic if he can survive something that can kill all the other captains and probably Aizen.
    Also, what makes you think that Aizen is that much smarter than Yamamoto? The fact that he’s been in charge of the Gotei 13 for over 1000 years means that he’s not just the strongest, but also a very smart and gifted leader; he also created the shinigami academy. Running an organization of that size is no easy task. If he was just stronger than his subordinates, then they would’ve ganged up on him and killed him a long time ago.

  • By KAEl, March 14, 2010 @ 2:02 pm

    @john

    tremble in fear? now where did you see THAT?

    @TM

    take it easy dude, don’t get to love him too much, you know that someday he will be defeated by ichi’s hand don’t you? this is shounen after all :) though yeah, I’m pretty sure “The SMIRK” will be back next chapter. Aizen was simply surprised after all, nothing more :)

    the overrall chapter was great, though as much as I hate to admit it I agree with TM that yama looked a bit pathetic, this is yama we are talking about, expected him to injure aizen or something like that.

    @ Karijow
    who the hell is whitebeard????????? O_OOOOOO

  • By Byakushi, March 14, 2010 @ 2:07 pm

    “who the hell is whitebeard????????? O_OOOOOO”
    Oh, that’s just a minor character from One Piece. (best manga ever, a must read or die one; no seriously, if you haven’t read One Piece it’s like you’ve never read a manga at all)
    And, like I said, Yama is definitely not pathetic. Doing anything more than that would’ve made him look way stronger than Aizen, and thus it would raise the question – “why didn’t Yama just kill Aizen from the start?”. But now we just know he was only slightly stronger.

  • By ssj, March 14, 2010 @ 3:09 pm

    agreed, yama is not pathetic. they are both titans. it might actually be a fitting ending for him. after seeing just how colossal he is, any way of dying other than by his own power wouldn’t seem possible. either way we won’t know until the end of this battle, as well as all the other fighters struck down.
