Ginjou has quite the story for Ichigo as he immediately start chatting about the badge and it’s supposed function and actual function. Ishida being the observant man that guy that he, figured the Badge was something else. Before he hits him with the truth though he hits him with a question, letting Ichigo ‘slowly’ realize where this is going. Ichigo never did experience the authority of the badge before, seeing how Afro-man never heard of it. Now I didn’t think anything of that moment either, seeing how Afro-man isn’t the smartest branch on the tree. Afro-man never heard of it, and no-one of the top-tier ss guys ever asked for that thing.
The badge exists to observe and restrict the user. It works as a tracking beacon, and the badge was suppressing his reiatsu whenever he was in human form. All this reiatsu that was stored in his badge, that actually helped him get his powers back. The other surprising reveal is that it is all orchestrated by Ukitake Jushirou. Ginjou also pretty much admits that he also got conned by this guy in the exact same way. Ichigo’s rage is now building as ginjou continues his rant. Ishida can already feel what is about to happen.
Ichigo responds the only way he can.
ichigo goes bankai, the big question is, will it look like his form in the Aizen form or will it be a blend of his older ‘immature’ form with a taste of Full bring influence in there. One bit of fan-art after this chapter on Mangastream looks awesome as well, don’t quite like the hilt, but there you have it. A few other points.
- Will Ginjou pull a bankai-like form out his ass
- I don’t believe Ichigo will go on a rampage. I believe he earned their trust with his sacrifice, beating Aizen.(Take Byakuya for example)
- Ukitake?!?!?!?! WOW!!!!
- Ginjou probably found this out he was being watched, maybe he was already up to no
good, and then discarded by SS. Neither Ginjou or SS has revealed of what actually happened to Ginjou.

Well, Aizen seemed kind and unsuspecting enough before he revealed he was the dude who raped Satan’s dad (wierd analogy for his evilness/power fueled by sleep-deprivation), so maybe Ukitake cam be evil too

I wAnt ichigo to have the same look as when he fought aizen then we’ll see who exactly can beat him afterwards but if soul society is trying to restrict ichigo the question is why. The next chapter looks promising seeing a new bankai and it looks like all the captains and even isshin knows the truth except him so can’t wait to see what happens

i agree with madara, big deal man, i dont see how monitoring him hurts anyone, but the using him as a pawn part to do soul societies bidding is kind of a piss off. it gave an idea though, the perfect way to end bleach once and for all, ichigo becomes the antagonist evil villain, and the souls society have to take him out.

@vjl: He had a crazy amount of power + he is the son of a Shingami who is living on earth.
They are naturally cautious, just like with that prison where Mayuri was kept, in the past Vizard arch.

I don’t see Ukitake becoming a villain. Urahara was apparently aware of the badge’s purpose, but said nothing. Ginjo sounds like a bad egg–one of those substitutes SS awarded a badge to specifically to monitor and suppress his power. Giving one to Ichigo was simply following standard procedure (we know the old SS was fond of doing things by the book, ha ha).
I wonder if Ichigo has considered the flip side of this, which is that if his reiatsu was allowed to pour out of him as a human, he’d never get a moment’s peace. The badge probably prevented a near-constant attack of Hollows attracted to his power, shielding him and everyone around him.

Yeah I honestly don’t see the issue with suppressing his riatsu in his HUMAN form I don’t think Ichigo does either. If anything, he would be thankfull for that.
As for motoring him, well I am sure Ichigo would understand that too, especially after meeting Ginju.
That being said, I believe there is more to the story besides the badge. Even Ginju wouldn’t go to this length simply because he was being monitored. There has to be more!
