 Bleach the Movie: Memories of NobodyThe first Bleach movie was released in Japan in December of 2006 and had a limited showing in American and Canadian theatres in 2008. There has been a sudden outbreak of blank spirits called in Karakura Town. Stranger still, in the skies of Soul Society, the real world has been reflected. As Ichigo and Rukia go to investigate, they encounter a mysterious female shinigami called Senna. Senna is being hunted by another group of rogue Shinigami called the Dark Ones. When Ichigo sees Senna being attacked, he instinctively helps her and begins unraveling who she is and her link to the strange occurances. |
 Bleach: The Diamond Dust RebellionThe second of the Bleach movies was released in Japan in 2008 and English DVDs will be available in 2009. Unlike the first movie where Ichigo was the main protaganist, Toshiro Hitsugaya plays a central role in the plot of the DiamondDust Rebellion; so don’t miss this movie if you’re a “Shiro” fan. valuable artifact known as “King’s Seal” is stolen by a mysterious group of people during transport in Soul Society. The 10th division captain, Toshiro, is put in charge of transporting a heavenly seal. The convoy is attacked by a mysterious group and Toshiro goes missing. After the incident, Seireitei declares Hitsugaya a traitor. Ichigo refuses to believe this, and along with Matsumoto Rangiku, Kuchiki Rukia and Abarai Renji go in search of Toshiro and clear his name. |
 Bleach: Fade to Black, I Call Your NameThe third movie to the Bleach franchise was released in Japan in 2008. An attack by a scythe wielder causes a sudden reiatsu explosion occurs in the center of Seireitei in Soul Society. The explosion destroys Seireitei and causes amnesia in all the Shinigami present. The same scythe wielder also attacks Rukia and steals her memories and part of her very existence. Urahara Kisuke sends Ichigo to Soul Society to investigate the disturbance. Upon reaching Seireitei, Ichigo is set upon and attacked by the Shinigamis who have no memory of him or Rukia. Now alone and on the run, Ichigo must uncover the cause of the mysterious incident before it’s too late. |
