Anyway onto today’s chapter. It starts off with Ishinn vs. Aizen. In true Ishinn style he isnt that subtle to the environment. Demolishing building in an attempt to slice Aizen. Good to see that Ishinn ain’t holding back(apart from the fact he hasn’t released his zanpaktou). Aizen however easily dodges the attack and throws a kidou in his face. We have seen this one before. If my memory serves me correct Miss. Shiba Kuukaku. She used it at the Soukyoku hill. Anyway the chapter continues with a nice little chat between Gin and Ichigo. Gin seems very eager to boast about his zanpaktou and explains a few details from his bankai before even releasing it. That said if your bankai has a length of 13km.. you can boast about all day if you ask me. Also Ichigo seems to be very philosophical all of a sudden which is why I don’t feel like going deep into that bit of the conversation. At least Gin has a stable mental health. Ichigo has some serious mood swings lately.

At moment of release he slices and entire neighborhood to pieces. Even thou it has a massive length Ichigo seems quite capable of stopping Gin’s blade dead in its track, which gives us the question that Gin’s bankai lacks in attack power. However we cannot deny the massive reach he has and I doubt he sword is ‘stuck’ at such a length, I’m assuming he can control its the length at will. Ichigo will need his speed to be able to close the distance if he is to strike at Gin. I doubt throwing Getsuga’s everywhere will help him out here. I think Gin can easily cover himself with his blade exactly like Renji does. Gin truly is a snake, kind of makes you wonder how his resurrecion will be. Cause I for one hope he has one.
