Bleach Chapter 431 – Welcome to Our Execution 3

Read the Chapter

Ah you’re killing me Tite. Yet again we receive a chapter with about 17 pages of minimal information, and one good cliffhanger of a page at the end. I really don’t have much to go into this chapter because of that, but I’ll do my best to drag it out.

Before I get into the main plot, let me quickly address Sado. The only one who appears to be seriously worried about him is Orihime. And after all this build up as to why he is missing, I’d have to say he was either kidnapped, or in hiding. Maybe Urahara has something to do with it… in one of those two situations.

After finally getting a hold of Kuugo, Ichigo and him set up a meeting time to finally talk business. They meet up at night in front of an old, seemingly abandoned building. Ichigo must have some sense of trust for this Kuugo guy to show up in such a vulnerable, possibly “set-up” situation like that without any powers or any back up.

After going inside, Ichigo enters a giant, elegant room filled with mysterious looking characters that appear to be waiting for him. Between the fancy Xcution card, the tedious phone process to get a hold of Kuugo, and this fancy room, it almost seems like a front in my opinion. It might all be legit, but what if they are just doing all this to impress Ichigo. Well, impress, or trick. The final bit of juicy information is when Kuugo tells him that Xcutions primary goal is to restore Ichigo’s shinigami powers.

Xcution

But why? What do they have to gain from that? And does this mean that they won’t be trying to give him human-like powers like they have after all? I doubt it is all that simple. If that really is there goal, there has to be a decent motive for it. Do they merely want a powerful ally? Do they want an inside man to be able to infiltrate Soul Society? Do they need his powers do defeat another force out there?

Please clue us in Tite. I’d appreciate it. No Shonen next week guys :( See you in January, and I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays!

EDIT: Three Week Hiatus

Well as many of you know there will be no Bleach this week, and unfortunately next week as well. But when Bleach comes back, what are we to expect? Is Bleach going to slowly wind down, or is there more to the story? Well I have good news folks, a reliant source has revealed that there are still at least two more major arcs (one 6-8 months long, and one 2-3 years!!!) to come. I remember Tite stating in an interview that the next arc will feature a character other than Ichigo, could that be the 8 month story before his final 2-3 year arc? Or perhaps, has Tite finally jumped on the bandwagon and decided to include a time skip? What do you guys think? How will the story pick back up in the 50th JUMP issue?

Also, stay up to date with the latest episode of Bleach.

Bleach Chapter 399 – Deicide

All right everybody, since byakushi has giving us another disappearance I respectfully fill in this week. I’m gonna keep it short so bear with me here, I want to start off with nice little side-note here… The Bleach anime is finally off the filler streak, so its back to Ichigo vs. Uli. I’ve been waiting for quite a while, i hope they don’t screw this up with poor animations.

Anyway onto today’s chapter. It starts off with Ishinn vs. Aizen. In true Ishinn style he isnt that subtle to the environment. Demolishing building in an attempt to slice Aizen. Good to see that Ishinn ain’t holding back(apart from the fact he hasn’t released his zanpaktou). Aizen however easily dodges the attack and throws a kidou in his face. We have seen this one before. If my memory serves me correct Miss. Shiba Kuukaku. She used it at the Soukyoku hill. Anyway the chapter continues with a nice little chat between Gin and Ichigo. Gin seems very eager to boast about his zanpaktou and explains a few details from his bankai before even releasing it. That said if your bankai has a length of 13km.. you can boast about all day if you ask me. Also Ichigo seems to be very philosophical all of a sudden which is why I don’t feel like going deep into that bit of the conversation. At least Gin has a stable mental health. Ichigo has some serious mood swings lately.

 Gin's release

At moment of release he slices and entire neighborhood to pieces. Even thou it has a massive length Ichigo seems quite capable of stopping Gin’s blade dead in its track, which gives us the question that Gin’s bankai lacks in attack power. However we cannot deny the massive reach he has and I doubt he sword is ‘stuck’ at such a length, I’m assuming he can control its the length at will. Ichigo will need his speed to be able to close the distance if he is to strike at Gin. I doubt throwing Getsuga’s everywhere will help him out here. I think Gin can easily cover himself with his blade exactly like Renji does. Gin truly is a snake, kind of makes you wonder how his resurrecion will be. Cause I for one hope he has one.

End Chapter.

I hoped you enjoy this briefly produced summary, I wrote this one while watching Get Smart if that explains any of my writing today.

PS: Vote +1 for Gin surviving and being a creepy little bug for just a while longer.

Ishin & Ryuuken ~ Troubled Family?

Hey everybody. May I the First to say: Happy new year to everyone here at bleachedichigo.com may the manga stay as awesome this year as it has been last year and the years before that.

I decided on this post after reading an interesting theory. My reply to that one kinda made me wanting to go a bit deeper into a few things.  The theory where my train of thought has spawned from is the theory of Ichigo’s mother being a Quincy. If so, what would that mean for all the folks on earth. Ichigo, Ishida and the history between Ishin and Ryuuken. It’s a bit long but I’ll hope you all enjoy it.

Kurosaki Misaki
In short, what do we know Ichigo’s mother Kurosaki Misaki. Not all that much really other than that she was a caring mother turning Ichigo into a bit of a mothers-child.

Kurosaki Misaki: Loving mother and Quincy?

Early in Ichigo’s life she was killed by Grand Fisher. For a very long time Ichigo blamed himself for her death. Later we hear that it was Grand Fisher who was responsible for tricking Ichigo. Thou Grand Fisher doesn’t remember the incident himself seeing he has only a memory of Six Years -That’s right, check it out if you want.. I did- . Anyway Ichigo was lured to the image of a child near the water and ran off to save her, his mother dived after him too keep him from drowning.. anyway, that would be her objective is she was ‘merely’ human. If she was a Quincy(active or no) she would have been able to see the true danger and throw herself between Ichigo and Grand Fisher in order to save her son. As I said earlier, she was very important to Ichigo and of-course for the rest of the family. Ichigo always blamed himself for her death and was simply frustrated by the fact that his father and his two younger sisters never blamed him or even got angry at him for his actions that day. His father had to set him straight with some speak for Ichigo to regain his resolve. So let’s talk Ishin next

Kurosaki Ishin
So, the ‘first’ man of the hour. Ishin. Misaki’s husband, Ichigo’s father and most importantly a Shinigami. And one that dropped out of Soul Society at some point in time. In my personal opinion I find Ishin the most interesting character who has yet to reveal himself to the others. Mainly because I found him hard to place in the known timeline. One reason to support that is that no one really seems to know know the family name Kurosaki. Then again it could be a similar case with the Vaizards. Their names being more or less forgotten over time or forcefully kept silent by the Central 46. The most obvious would be to place him as a previous member of the Royal Guard. However I have another theory of how he did end up on Earth. The only one that springs to mind is the war against the Quincy. However in my search on some facts of Ryuken in the manga chapter I found some interesting info that could place Ishin in the timeline so stay with me here.

Kurosaki Ishin: Former Shinigami and full-time retard father

Ishin & the Quincy war
Let me start of with what I found in chapter 123. This chapter is part of the fight between Mayuri and Uryuu. Mayuri talks briefly about the war. The line that stands out is where he says that the Quincy were near to extinction around the time he became the next president of the research department. The same department Kisuke has set up. And I think we all know when that happened. About 110 years ago when the ‘Vaizard’ case -Turn Back the Pendulum- began. It is possible that Ishin was a Captain at that time.

In the pic, a small reference is made about a third squad captain who has retired. Since no name has been mentioned it could very well have been Ishin who retired some time before Rose took his position, possibly due to the events during the Quincy war. Oddly enough, later on in the flashback arch, Urahara say that no one really retires from the Gotei 13. It could be that Ishin ’escaped’ from his position, maybe faking his death?. Ishin does still keeps wearing his captain’s robe on his shoulder. Hell, it could very well be a 3rd Squad number on the back. Whatever the reason it could be that he did some crazy stuff in that war and felt he needed to watch over the remaining few Quincy himself. After seeing Misaki he could have contacted Urahara who fled down to earth. Ishin was probably well aware of what Urahara has done as a ‘scientist’ and probably called upon his help build a gigai for him to remain on earth in body of flesh and blood so he could go after Misaki and gain a normal life. His history from that point on doesn’t need further explanation. So let us move on to the next parent.

Ishida Ryuuken
The last Quicy -well almost- and father of Uryuu. So, remember we are still going with the theory that Kurosaki Misaki is a Quincy. Ryuuken has an obvious disgust for Shinigami due to the war that raged between Shinigami and Quincy. Since Uryuu though Ryuuken abandoned his power as a Quincy we all assumed the same. Well.. later we were very wrong. Ryuuken doesn’t seems to have lost any bit of his strength when saving and training his son. So what possibilities does our Quincy theory offer to Ryuuken. One would be the fact that Ryuuken and Misaki are brother and sister. There is not much to support that kind of relationship apart from one thing. The relationship between Ryuuken and Ishin.

They look like they had alot of forced family visits.

Thou they don’t have a lot of dialog together they do seem to know each other quite well. Seeing how Ryuuken would hate Shingami like the plague yet he seems to be tolerating Ishin, maybe even a hint of respect. Ishin seems to have some respect for him at the very least. So some of you might already realize what this possible relation between these two characters would mean for two others.

Uryuu and Ichigo

cousins should look after eachother right?

Yep… If Ishin and Ryuuken are brothers-in-law due to Misaki being his wife -going along with everything above- that would mean that our main hero Ichigo and Uryuu are blood related. I don’t think it is necessary to go further into their pasts as those have been made well-known throughout the manga. If this theory is true then I’m sure we get to a point in time where Ichigo and Uryuu would find out. That would be quite amusing seeing how proud Uryuu tends to be. On the other hand he has broken his father’s will on several occasions for Ichigo and the others so he is loosening up a bit. In this case we can only wait and see what the manga will bring. For now Uryuu is still back in Hueco Mundo with the each other whereas Ichigo has just arrived to own base so I guess I’ll have to stop right here and now.

I hope you all enjoyed my first serious piece  and hope you find it a welcome addition to bleachedichigo. And of course I hope my English won’t ruin it for everyone. I did use the spell checker:P. I’d like to know what you all think of this theory.
