The end? I think not…

How long ago was this battle initiated? Almost 80 chapters? And how long has it been hyped? About 200 chapters? It would seem that this fated, and undoubtedly epic clash of the titans would be a fitting end to Aizen and Co.’s feud with the shinigami. Whatever the outcome, it would be decided here where everything was put on the line. But will it truly end here?

Personally I don’t think so. The power gap seems too great for Aizen to lose. Aizen and Gin haven’t even gone beyond shikai and have taken out almost the entire Gotei squad very effortlessly. They still have bankai, and presumably a hollow mask, then ressureccion. The only person who is might be strong enough to take Aizen on is Yamamoto. There are two problems with that happening though: 1.) He is also under Aizen’s hypnosis, 2.) He isn’t Ichigo. Everyone who has ever read a shonen manga knows the main character has to be the one to defeat the main bad guy. I actually think that if Yamamoto ever finally does step up to fight, he will lose his life in this battle (but probably with the same result as Sarutobi Vs. Orochimaru in Naruto, where he sacrifices himself to at least halt Aizen’s current onslaught).

Aizen could have finished this battle long ago, just look at what he has done so far, with so little effort. He is toying with the shinigami. He could have prevented his Espada from dying, but let them continue their battles out of self amusement. I believe he wanted Ichigo to see what is happening here. From the beginning of this battle Aizen knew who he would kill, and who he would leave alive.

By the end of this battle, Ichigo will have experienced an eye-opener like never before. To close this immense gap between himself and Aizen he will either have to train with that mysterious faja of his, or partake in a a little theory I’ve had for a while. The theory is that after this battle, and after seeing how Aizen treats them, some of the Arrancar may betray him. I think that there may be some Espada still alive after this. Starkk was never officially confirmed as dead, Grimjoww isn’t dead, and even though she was stabbed through the torso, Harribel could still survive. Hell Momo was stabbed the same way by Aizen back in the Central 46 chamber and lived. If they decided to betray Aizen, they know they will have to side with somebody to survive. Even if they hate shinigami, Ichigo is kind of like a middle man. If they find common ground, I think they could be very helpful in teaching Ichigo to control his hollow powers. Possibly a fully controlled ressurccion like the one that fought Ulquiorra? I just read somebody talking about Toshiro and his huge defeat. It is probable that he is due for some epic training as well. I don’t think he will look toward hollow powers, but that is always an interesting option.

It seems as though Aizen is dealing a fatal blow to the strength of the shinigami, there would still be a substantial amount of enemies left for him later.  The Zero Division contains soldiers that are all above the level of the captains (aside from Yamamoto), Urahara, Yoruichi, Tessai, and Mr. Kurosaki will be powerful allies. And all those Aizen decides to let live will probably all fight again next battle.  I suspect the next giant bout will probably take place in the Royal Dimension.

I think Aizen has big plans for Ichigo. I obviously don’t know what yet, maybe the “Kurosaki” (if that is his true name) lineage delves deeper into the plot, and Aizen’s motives than we thought. That would explain not only his interest in Ichigo from earlier, but Gin’s manipulation of the corridors back in Las Noches, Aizen waiting for Ichigo to arrive before putting on such a show, and eventually leaving Ichigo alive.

Gingers

One of the biggest reasons this can’t be the end is, I just don’t see there being another villain that can fill Aizen’s shoes. He is too strong, stronger than anybody the Bleach-universe has seen before. So his demise might (dare I say it) bring about the end of the series. The series can’t end with so many unanswered questions and mysteries. All the bankais, the truth behind Ichigo’s dad, Ichigo and Orihime finally getting it on, etc…

I know that this was all just a bunch of random information, sorry lol. And of course now that I say this, the next chapter will prove me otherwise.

Ishin & Ryuuken ~ Troubled Family?

Hey everybody. May I the First to say: Happy new year to everyone here at bleachedichigo.com may the manga stay as awesome this year as it has been last year and the years before that.

I decided on this post after reading an interesting theory. My reply to that one kinda made me wanting to go a bit deeper into a few things.  The theory where my train of thought has spawned from is the theory of Ichigo’s mother being a Quincy. If so, what would that mean for all the folks on earth. Ichigo, Ishida and the history between Ishin and Ryuuken. It’s a bit long but I’ll hope you all enjoy it.

Kurosaki Misaki
In short, what do we know Ichigo’s mother Kurosaki Misaki. Not all that much really other than that she was a caring mother turning Ichigo into a bit of a mothers-child.

Kurosaki Misaki: Loving mother and Quincy?

Early in Ichigo’s life she was killed by Grand Fisher. For a very long time Ichigo blamed himself for her death. Later we hear that it was Grand Fisher who was responsible for tricking Ichigo. Thou Grand Fisher doesn’t remember the incident himself seeing he has only a memory of Six Years -That’s right, check it out if you want.. I did- . Anyway Ichigo was lured to the image of a child near the water and ran off to save her, his mother dived after him too keep him from drowning.. anyway, that would be her objective is she was ‘merely’ human. If she was a Quincy(active or no) she would have been able to see the true danger and throw herself between Ichigo and Grand Fisher in order to save her son. As I said earlier, she was very important to Ichigo and of-course for the rest of the family. Ichigo always blamed himself for her death and was simply frustrated by the fact that his father and his two younger sisters never blamed him or even got angry at him for his actions that day. His father had to set him straight with some speak for Ichigo to regain his resolve. So let’s talk Ishin next

Kurosaki Ishin
So, the ‘first’ man of the hour. Ishin. Misaki’s husband, Ichigo’s father and most importantly a Shinigami. And one that dropped out of Soul Society at some point in time. In my personal opinion I find Ishin the most interesting character who has yet to reveal himself to the others. Mainly because I found him hard to place in the known timeline. One reason to support that is that no one really seems to know know the family name Kurosaki. Then again it could be a similar case with the Vaizards. Their names being more or less forgotten over time or forcefully kept silent by the Central 46. The most obvious would be to place him as a previous member of the Royal Guard. However I have another theory of how he did end up on Earth. The only one that springs to mind is the war against the Quincy. However in my search on some facts of Ryuken in the manga chapter I found some interesting info that could place Ishin in the timeline so stay with me here.

Kurosaki Ishin: Former Shinigami and full-time retard father

Ishin & the Quincy war
Let me start of with what I found in chapter 123. This chapter is part of the fight between Mayuri and Uryuu. Mayuri talks briefly about the war. The line that stands out is where he says that the Quincy were near to extinction around the time he became the next president of the research department. The same department Kisuke has set up. And I think we all know when that happened. About 110 years ago when the ‘Vaizard’ case -Turn Back the Pendulum- began. It is possible that Ishin was a Captain at that time.

In the pic, a small reference is made about a third squad captain who has retired. Since no name has been mentioned it could very well have been Ishin who retired some time before Rose took his position, possibly due to the events during the Quincy war. Oddly enough, later on in the flashback arch, Urahara say that no one really retires from the Gotei 13. It could be that Ishin ’escaped’ from his position, maybe faking his death?. Ishin does still keeps wearing his captain’s robe on his shoulder. Hell, it could very well be a 3rd Squad number on the back. Whatever the reason it could be that he did some crazy stuff in that war and felt he needed to watch over the remaining few Quincy himself. After seeing Misaki he could have contacted Urahara who fled down to earth. Ishin was probably well aware of what Urahara has done as a ‘scientist’ and probably called upon his help build a gigai for him to remain on earth in body of flesh and blood so he could go after Misaki and gain a normal life. His history from that point on doesn’t need further explanation. So let us move on to the next parent.

Ishida Ryuuken
The last Quicy -well almost- and father of Uryuu. So, remember we are still going with the theory that Kurosaki Misaki is a Quincy. Ryuuken has an obvious disgust for Shinigami due to the war that raged between Shinigami and Quincy. Since Uryuu though Ryuuken abandoned his power as a Quincy we all assumed the same. Well.. later we were very wrong. Ryuuken doesn’t seems to have lost any bit of his strength when saving and training his son. So what possibilities does our Quincy theory offer to Ryuuken. One would be the fact that Ryuuken and Misaki are brother and sister. There is not much to support that kind of relationship apart from one thing. The relationship between Ryuuken and Ishin.

They look like they had alot of forced family visits.

Thou they don’t have a lot of dialog together they do seem to know each other quite well. Seeing how Ryuuken would hate Shingami like the plague yet he seems to be tolerating Ishin, maybe even a hint of respect. Ishin seems to have some respect for him at the very least. So some of you might already realize what this possible relation between these two characters would mean for two others.

Uryuu and Ichigo

cousins should look after eachother right?

Yep… If Ishin and Ryuuken are brothers-in-law due to Misaki being his wife -going along with everything above- that would mean that our main hero Ichigo and Uryuu are blood related. I don’t think it is necessary to go further into their pasts as those have been made well-known throughout the manga. If this theory is true then I’m sure we get to a point in time where Ichigo and Uryuu would find out. That would be quite amusing seeing how proud Uryuu tends to be. On the other hand he has broken his father’s will on several occasions for Ichigo and the others so he is loosening up a bit. In this case we can only wait and see what the manga will bring. For now Uryuu is still back in Hueco Mundo with the each other whereas Ichigo has just arrived to own base so I guess I’ll have to stop right here and now.

I hope you all enjoyed my first serious piece  and hope you find it a welcome addition to bleachedichigo. And of course I hope my English won’t ruin it for everyone. I did use the spell checker:P. I’d like to know what you all think of this theory.

Bridge to Peace

Hollows have always been considered the Yin to the Shinigami’s Yang. The evil path that a soul can take after death. And as such, the Arrancar are also considered evil. Well this connotation has proven to be true for the most part, but every once in a while, we will see  one with a little more promise.

For example, Nel is somebody who, even though she followed Aizen at one time, can never side with Aizen and his Arrancar army ever again. You can’t really blame her for following Aizen in the past, when she was the 3rd Espada. She was a lonely Hollow, with nowhere else to turn. Not to mention how manipulative he can be with his subordinates, telling them whatever they want to hear to get them to do as he wishes. But since she has left the Arrancar army and joined forces with Ichigo, there isn’t much question as to where her allegiance lies. (To Ichigo) The same goes for her fraccion, who seem to be almost as caring and harmonic as she.

From the very start Grimmjow has shown disobedience toward Aizen. His motives for joining his army are most likely for personal gain. After being defeated by Ichigo, he was shown mercy for the first time in his life, right before Nnoitra tries to off him, where he is then protected again by Ichigo. To me it seems like their rivalry has created some sort of a bond between the two. A brotherhood, that even if they don’t like each other, they at least understand each other. If he survives through the giant conflict going on right now, it is questionable if he will return to the Arrancar army, or if he will have a change in direction.

Stark; the Primera Espada, whose aspect of death is loneliness. My theory is that he is lonely because he is the only Espada who doesn’t hate, or even wish to kill the Shinigami. It has been illustrated in his fight with Shunsui, that he didn’t wish to harm him at all, and only wanted to “play fight.”  I don’t know if he will survive after his ongoing “battle” with the Gotei 13, but if he does, and if Aizen is defeated, I think it is believable that he wouldn’t have any qualms with the Shinigami taking over.

Other Arrancar have shown disloyalty toward Aizen, like the Dordonii. At first he aided him when fighting Ichigo, but due to his encounter, matched with his grudge for being kicked out of the Espada, he turned on the Exequias when they went after Ichigo. Ultimately him and the other Privaron Espada were implied to be finished off, but I think it is safe to say that out of the many Arrancar in Aizen’s army, there are probably others who share this disloyalty.

What I am trying to get at with all of this is that when Aizen is ultimately defeated (because that is inevitable) there are still going to be Arrancar left alive. Through certain key encounters, I have noticed that Tite has been trying to shed some light to both sides of the story, and how not all Arrancar are evil. Well, hypothetically, if some of the remaining Arrancar like Nel, or Stark (if he lives), didn’t mind it, wouldn’t some sort of treaty between them and the shinigami help bring peace and balance throughout the universe?

Think about it, the Gotei 13 exists to help bring peace and balance, and with allies on the other side, this would aid them substantially. One of the reasons Tite introduced the Vaizards was to show that just because somebody is linked to Hollows, doesn’t mean they are evil. And that the ruling system, and the ancient laws of the Soul Society need to be adjusted, because not everything is so black and white.
