The Movie starts as the King’s Seal , a valuable and powerful ancient artifact, is being transported to the Soul Society. The 10th Division is guarding it though no one knows what the King’s Seal is. Suddenly, a masked Shinigami and two Arrancar girls attack causeing explosions and fires. Hitsugaya runs through the chaos chasing one of the Arrancar and the Shinigami stabs him through the stomach. Hitsugaya fight for a short while then the masked man flees. Hitsugaya looks down at Matsumoto who has just come to the scene and dissapears with a pained expression.
