Yasochika Iemura is the 3rd Seated Officer in the 4th Division under Captain Retsu Unohana. He is in charging of leading the first relief teams from the 4th Division and is highly organized with those under his command. However, Yosochika is also quite vain and tries (but fails) to look cool in any situation. He has a habit of writing his thoughts and recent events in a diary, but he also reads out loud what he is writing without realizing it.
The name and abilities of Yosochika’s zanpakuto are unknown. Like most members of the 4th Division, Yosochika likely specializes in healing and is weak in combat skills.

Tetsuzaemon Iba

Tetsuzaemon Iba is the Lieutenant of the 7th Division under the command of Captain Sajin Komamura. He has a distinctive yakuza (Japanese gangster) look about with his form of speech, dark shades and hair style. Iba is also known to smoke often and has a large tattoo of a burning cat and the kanji for ‘inviting luck’ on his back.

Iba was originally a member of the 11th Division under Kenpachi Zarachi. He transferred to the 7th Division after coming to terms that promotion to Lieutenant in the 11th Division was probably impossible due to Yachiru’s presence. Some members of the 11th Division looked down on his decision because his reason for promotion was due to a promise to his mother and not because of his own ambitions. Iba still likes to hang out at the 11th Division headquarters sometimes and is good friends with Ikkaku Madarame. Iba’s early “battles” in the series were often in sparring or dueling matches against Ikkaku. Their confrontations usually comes down to sharing a bottle of saké together until it runs out, the two then fight or play rock-paper-scissors to determine who goes to get a new bottle while the other one rests.

The name of Iba’s zanpakuto has not yet been revealed along with its shikai command. In its sealed state, the zanpakuto resembles a tanto (Japanese style dagger). Its released state resembles a broad bladed scimitar with a small protrusion near the tip of the blade. It is unknown if Tetsuzaemon Iba has achieved his bankai yet.

Makizo Aramaki is a seated officer in the 11th Division. He is often frustrated by the fact that his fellow Shinigami often forget his name and just call him whatever they please. The 11th Division’s Lieutenant, Yachiru Kusajishi, refers to him as “Maki-Maki.” Makizo played a role during the battle between Uryuu Ishida and Mayuri Kurotsuchi by knocking out Orihime Inoue and carrying her to safety.

Kenpachi Zaraki

Kenpachi Zaraki is the Captain of the 11th Division. He is famous for his lust for battle and is said to have even gained his position by killing the previous captain of the Division in a duel. Kenpachi lives for the thrill of a good fight, and even handicaps himself in battle to make the fight last longer. Kenpachi possesses an enormous amount of spiritual energy that could be greater than even Ichigo’s. He wears a special eye patch to absorb some of his energy and also wears small bells on the points of his hair, all of which to give his opponents an advantage. Despite his bloodthirsty appearance, Kenpachi cares for his subordinates and has their loyalty and respect. The 11th Division is the most aggressive Division in the Gotei 13 but they also have their own code of ethics for battle. Kenpachi is especially soft when dealing with his Lieutenant, the miniscule Yachiru, whose favorite spot is to sit atop Kenpachi’s shoulder. The two of them met in district 80 of the Rukongai after Yachiru’s parents were murdered by thugs. On that same day, Kenpachi also named himself for the first time; Zaraki is the name of district 80 and Kenpachi means the strongest swordsman. Kenpachi is the only Captain to not yet know the name of his Zanpakuto. Because of this, he has not yet been able to release his Bankai. Because of Kenpachi’s overflowing spiritual power, his Zanpakuto is always in its Shikai state and is in the shape of a very long katana. Despite the fact that the blade is dull and the entire sword looks to be in poor shape, Kenpachi is still able to fight highly effective in battle due to his immense strength and swordsmanship. He has demonstrated that he can take on two Captain-level Shinigami with released Bankai’s with only his Shikai state Zanpakuto. After his battle with Ichigo in Soul Society, Kenpachi has stated that he is willing to try harder to communicate with his Zanpakuto in order better understand its power.
